We are seeking an outstanding individual to help us meet the increasing demand for our services.  While each project is different, some typical tasks include:

  • Researching (literature based and site visits)
  • Sourcing and analysing data (including working with incomplete data)
  • Building models in Excel (e.g. scenario models, bowtie analyses)
  • Communicating with clients
  • Working with subcontractors (e.g. to produce web-based outputs)
  • Facilitating risk-related activities for clients (e.g. workshops)
  • Combining and analysing information to formulate advice
  • Writing reports

The most important skills for you to have will be the ability to think critically, analyse data, and be able to innovate and learn on the fly. You will also have good written and verbal communication skills and be fluent in Excel and Word.

While we are not looking for specific qualifications, we expect applicants to have at minimum a bachelor’s degree or several years work experience that you can demonstrate is relevant to the role. Our employees have a range of backgrounds, including in science, policy, statistics, economics, philosophy, psychology and engineering.

You will be able to develop your skills and take responsibility for particular areas of interest. Depending on project requirements you will work independently or alongside the company directors who have CEO, board and operational experience.  We are ISO9001 accredited and operate a formal professional development programme, including consulting training.
